Concerts at the Dock

Concerts at the Dock is a free, public outdoor concert series put on by the Port Townsend Main Street Program every summer. Every Thursday in July (and August) enjoy live music, food, a beer, wine & cider garden, and goods & services from local vendors.

Concerts take place at Pope Marine Park on in downtown on Water Street. Seating starts at 4:30 and music plays from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.

Jazz on the Farm

Finnriver is a great place eat, drink, and enjoy live music! The weekend of July 29th will be hosting a Jazz on the Farm weekend. Listen to local jazz musicians George Radebaugh Trio with Janna Marit, The Speakeasy Jazz Cats, and Jim Oliver.

There will also be all sorts of delicious goodies in addition to Finnriver’s ciders, like ice cream from Fiddlehead Creamery, woodfired pizza from Dented Buoy, and authentic French crepes from La Crêpe de Quimper.

Olympic Music Festival

The Olympic Music Festival is a summer chamber musical festival that brings world class chamber musicians of diverse backgrounds to Port Townsend for intimate performances. The festival is in its 35th year and the 2018 season kicks off the weekend of July 14th with Bach’s Goldberg Variations. Concerts take place on Saturdays and Sundays, offering a different performance each weekend, in July - September at 2pm at Fort Worden.

Centrum's Jazz Festival & Blues Festival

Every year Centrum, a nonprofit promoting creativity through art located on the Fort Worden campus, hosts wildly popular jazz and blues festivals respectively. The jazz festival takes place the week of July 22nd and the blues festival the week of July 29th.

Both festivals host a variety of concerts, including free performances, as well as the “Jazz in the Club” and “Blues in the Club” series where you can explore the historic buildings throughout Fort Worden while listening to intimate performances from musicians from all over the country.

Port Townsend Summer Band

Listen to popular music of the late 1800s to the 1950s as well as concert pieces and marches as you breath in the salty Pacific Northwest air as the band plays at the beautiful Chetzemoka Park.

The Port Townsend Summer Band will be playing a free concert on Sunday, July 29th at 3pm. The PT Summer Band is a local, all volunteer band comprised of band musicians who have been entertaining the community for 26 years this July! The PT Summer Band will also be playing two shows in August.
